The Word On The Street

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” — Mark 16:15.

The Word on the Street is an outreach of GodFirst Ministries with one simple purpose: to place God’s Word into the hands of people who need it.

Every Bible we give away is an opportunity for someone to encounter the truth of Jesus Christ. We believe that Scripture has the power to transform lives, bring hope to the hopeless, comfort those who are suffering, and lead people into a relationship with Christ.

Through this ministry, we distribute Bibles wherever the Lord opens a door. That may include homeless outreach, shelters, hospitals, long-term care homes, recovery programs, prisons, community organizations, schools where appropriate, street outreach, and individuals who simply need a Bible of their own. We also hope to partner with churches and local ministries that share a heart for making God’s Word accessible.

Our desire is not simply to hand out Bibles, but to share the love of Christ with every person we meet. Sometimes that means offering a conversation, listening to someone’s story, praying with them, or connecting them with a local Bible-believing church. Every interaction is an opportunity to reflect the compassion and truth of Jesus.

As this ministry grows, we’ll share updates about where Bibles are being distributed, how many have been given away, and stories of what God is doing through this outreach. We also hope to create opportunities for others to serve in their own communities by becoming part of Word on the Street wherever they live.

God's Word was never meant to stay inside a building. Through The Word On The Street, we place Bibles directly into the hands of those who need them - wherever they are. Every donation goes directly toward purchasing bibles and supporting outreach in our communities. Every $10 allows us to hand one bible to a person who needs hope.
